Can chartered flights reduce your ticket fare?

Yes, taking a chartered flight to Europe is one way by which you can reduce the cost of air fare. Charter companies offer flights in and out the same city and their fares are cheaper than the fares of major airlines. The only issue you have to deal with when taking chartered flights is that they can cancel in case the flight is not full. Not to worry about this because, there are plenty of flights from Europe, but to be on the cautious side, better to check with the charter flight company on the steps they are going to take in the event of a flight cancellation.

Courier flights offer travelers high discounts about 30-80 percent off and sometimes you can even get a ticket for free. One thing about courier flights is that they fly non short notice and operate form key ‘departure cities’. The amount of luggage you can carry is also limited.

If you need to change your return date in Europe, contact your airline’s European office. I’ve found airlines are more lenient if you go to their office in person with a good reason for your need to change the return date.

What happens in a situation where you want to return home early but your ticket is on a later date. The best thing to do here is to contact your airline European office because they are more likely to help you out when they see you in person and listen to your reason for a change of return date. Another option is for you to be available at the airport at least two days in advance. If seats are available, regardless of the rules, the airline may let you fly home early.
